The Central Arkansas Astronomical Society (CAAS) is dedicated to promoting public interest in amateur astronomy in central Arkansas. As part of its public outreach, the CAAS has partnered with the Central Arkansas Library System to provide simple-to-operate, quality astronomical telescopes to library patrons so they can experience the excitement of personally exploring the universe.

Telescopes can be checked out just like you would a book. The purpose of this site is to prepare you to check-out and successfully use an LTP instrument.
